Our Story
A Wayfarer is a “traveller, especially by foot”. To travel is something we all aspire to do, to visit distant lands and immerse ourselves in different cultures. Often it is the journey that is most rewarding part, something we only begin to understand upon returning home. A backpacking bartender from New Zealand and a overworked graduate from Chile meet at a bar in a large international city. They don’t know each other’s language. They intentionally fill their stomachs and unintentionally their hearts. 6 years pass by in a flash, they fill each other’s thoughts and accept each other’s faults. The best way to understand our story is through sharing our food and drink with the ones you love.
